Neum, May 14 – 16, 2025 - Representatives of Development Programming Institute of FBiH participated the conference held in Neum, organized within the project "EU for Increasing the Use of Administrative Data Sources in the Production of Official Statistics in Bosnia and Herzegovina - EU4admin", financed by European Union.
Taking part in the conference, temporarily appointed director of FZZPR, Rijad Kovač, was a panelist in the interactive session: Building a user-oriented statistical system – supporting data-driven decisions in the public and private sectors, where he presented the key competences of the Institute, emphasizing the need to develop a more efficient system of development planning management in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He reminded that the official statistics are basis for responsible management, policy making and fact-based decision-making. He also pointed out that the usage of the full potential of existing administrative data is the condition for institutional efficiency increase and costs reduction, as well as more qualitative official statistics.
