Sarajevo - March the 4th, 2021 - Today, at the initiative of the Development Programming Institute and the FBiH Civil Service Agency, a zoom meeting of representatives of Ministries of the Federation BiH Government was held. The topic was the implementation of the Decree on Triennial and Annual Work Planning, Monitoring and Reporting in the FBiH.

Based on the Law on Development Planning and Development Management, the FBiH Government has recently adopted four regulations, which define issues related to the development of strategic documents, their evaluation, three-year and annual work planning, and the FBiH development index. At the beginning of 2021, the Government of the FBiH also issued regulations amending these regulations (except for the development index), with a decision to postpone their implementation until January 1, 2022. Until then, all officials in the FBiH should undergo the necessary training on how to apply the regulations.

The the Decree on Triennial and Annual Work Planning, Monitoring and Reporting, prescribes the obligation for all administrative bodies in the FBiH to start drafting three-year work plans for the period 2022-2024 in the year 2021. During today's meeting, the training plan for FBiH ministry officials on the implementation of this Decree was presented and accepted, including methodological and professional support planned for 2021. The implementation of this regulation will enable the implementation of the FBiH Development Strategy 2021-2027, and contribute to more efficient and effective work of the ministries of the Federation of BiH.
